WHITTAKER George, Private 1680, 1/6th Manchester Regiment, killed in action at Gallipoli 5th June 1915 aged 26. He was born at Great Budworth, Knutsford and was the son of John and Mary of Park Side, Nether Tabley, Knutsford, He is commemorated on his parents memorial in Knutsford Cemetery and also on the Helles Memorial, Turkey and Gallipoli
