- HARRISON, George. Flight Sergeant, Wireless Operator and Air Gunner 1116256, 53 Squadron, Royal Air Force killed in action 21st May 1944 aged 29. He was the son of George and Esther of Macclesfield and he was the husband of Mary also of Macclesfield. He is commemorated on a family memorial at Macclesfield Cemetery, Cheshire and he is at rest in Bilbao British Cemetery, Spain.
