- George EVANS, Marine PO/X 100591, No.3 Royal Marines Commando, aged 27 years. Died 16th November 1947. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery. P1/R2/G20

He had served during World War II and in Malaya. For reasons unknown he committed suicide by hanging himself in a blitzed building in Floriana.
