Captain, George Edward MERRELLS Royal Artillery. Died 23rd May 1929 at Imtarfa, aged 50.From his loving wife and children. "Till we meet again" On the 19th December 1911 at Colaba, Bombay, India he married Winifred Alice Leun, daughter of Robert John and Harriet Amelia Luen. She was aged 27, John was 33. Her birth was Registered at Alice Winifred Luen in 1880 at Colchester. At rest in Plot 1. Row 1A. Grave 4 in Imtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta

In 1911 he was stationed in India as Company Sergeant Major, gunnery instructor aged 31 and was single. Native of Saxmundham, Suffolk, son of William and Sophia.

He was commissioned from R.S.M, 19783. Royal Garrison Artillery on the 2nd August 1919 to Lieutenant in the Royal Regiment of Artillery. He formerly lived at 276 Well hall Road, Eltham, London, S.E.9. Native of Blything, Suffolk.

Wills and Admin. Ancestry. George Merrells otherwise George Edward of Royal Artillery Tigne, Malta died 23rd May 1929 at Imtarfa Hospital Malta. His effects went to Fred Hum, cabinet maker.
