- Private 31354, George Davies 19th Pioneer Battalion, Welsh Regiment died of wounds 5th June 1917 aged 41.He was the son of Richard and Margaret of Maes-Y-Cwmmer, Monmouthshire . Native of Bedwas, and was resident of Cross Key, both in Monmouthshire
He is commemorated on a family memorial in All Saints churchyard, Church Lawton, Cheshire and is buried in Ferme-Olivier Cemetery, Belgium
