- George BUCHANAN died 5th February 1856, aged 14 the youngest son of the late George Buchanan, of The Chats, Upper Canada and stepson of Colonel Ringler Thomson, Royal Engineers
and
Matilda Victoria BUCHANAN died 9th February 1856 aged 18, only daughter of George Buchanan, and his wife Caroline nee Powell. Stepdaughter of Colonel Ringler Thomson Royal Engineers.
They died within four days of each other.
At rest together in Msida Bastion Cemetery, Floriana, Malta.
