Geoffrey William AUDEN

Cadet, Geoffrey William Auden, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was born 11th September 1900, educated at Clyngarth School, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and Rossall School. He joined the RAF as a cadet on the 23rd October 1918 and he died in Hampstead Military Hospital of Pneumonia following influenza contracted while training on the 4th November 1918 aged 18. He was the younger son Reverend Alfred Millington (Vicar of Church Broughton) and Edith Elizabeth of Church Broughton He is buried in St Michaels churchyard, Church Broughton
