G064 ARTHUR PHILIP LESLIE DUPEN. Engineer Captain, Royal Navy on HMS Egmont. Born 1871 at Southampton, Hampshire to John Wesley and Julia Anna Dupen, nee Spray. 1911 he was on HMS Boadicea at Harwich Harbour. Occupation Engineer Commander, Royal Navy. Died at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta 25 December 1918 aged 47 years. He was thrown from his horse, and suffered a fractured skull. Native of Goodwyns, Haslemere. His effects went to his widow Florence Ada Dupen, nee King.
