Born 16 June 1904 at Great Crosby, Lancashire to Frank and Constance Adeline Buckley, nee Hill. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at Rodford, Crescent Road, Blundellsands, Lancashire. Enlisted into the Royal Navy 15 January 1918, promoted to Lieutenant 15 September 1926. On the 5 January 1932 at Sliema, Malta he married Mary Jeannette (Netta) Spurgeon. Died on Hospital Ship, Maine 9th February 1932 aged 27 years of acute bronchitis. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - His residence in England was Brook Meadow, Hooton, Cheshire. Died on date stated. His effects went to his widow and father, wool broker.
