G082 FRANK WILLIAM WRIGHT. Clerk Grade 2 at HM Dockyard, Malta. Born 1879 at Stonehouse, Devon to Charles and Elizabeth Jane Wright, nee Hannam. 1881-1891 residing with his parents and siblings at 50 East Street, Stonehouse, Devon. 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at 10 Nepean Street, Devonport. 1911 residing with his wife Mabel Mary, nee Dodridge and daughter, Mabel at 6 St Georges Terrace, Stoke, Devonport. Occupation, employed as writer with the admiralty (Not in the Royal Navy). He was initiated into the Freemason 8 July 1913 at United Service Lodge, Hong Kong. Occupation, 3rd grade clerk. At some stage had enlisted into the Royal Engineers, date not known. Three of his brothers were also in the same corps. Another brother Sidney was in the Royal Naval as a signalman, father's regiment not known. Died in Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta, 4 April 1924 aged 46 years of neurasthenia and internal haemorrhage. Memorial erected by his sorrowing wife and children. Wills and Admin - Frank William Wright of 1 Wilton Street, Devonport died at place and date stated. His effects went to his widow Mabel Mary Wright.
