G072 EDWARD De VISMES DRUMMOND-HAY. Lieutenant Royal Navy on HMS Emperor of India. Born 1 December 1896 at Fulham, London to Frederick Edward and Mary Elizabeth Drummond-Hay nee Stone. In 1911 aged 16 he was a cadet/student at the Training Ship, Indefatigable, on the River Mersey at Rock Ferry, under the command of Captain A Wellesley-Bremner. Died Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta 12th May 1920 aged 23 years from cardiac failure following an appendicitis's operation. He is commemorated on a Crucifix Cross is in the chapel at the Malta Aviation Museum.
