FURNELL Walter Thomas

Lieutenant Walter Thomas FURNELL, 1/7th Cheshire Regiment, formerly A/RSM 2058 and then Commissioned to Lieutenant, her beloved husband who lies in France 31st July 1918 aged 39 He died of wounds and is buried in St Sever Cemetery, Rouen, France. He was the husband of Kate Fanny nee Tuck whom he married in 1906 and in 1911 where residing with their daughter at 59 Antrobus Street, Congleton, Cheshire and he was a Police Constable. he was the son of John and Emily Jane and he was born in Chitterne, Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire He is commemorated on his wife's memorial in St Peter's extended churchyard, Congleton, Cheshire
