COATES Frederick Raymond, Captain, 1/5th Fusiliers killed in action near Klerksdorp, South Africa on the 25th February 1902 aged 25. He was the youngest son of Victor and Margaret Airth Coates of Rathmore.
He is commemorated on a memorial at the family plot in Knockbreda Churchyard, Belfast
