Born 1896, baptised 9th August 1896 at Ashbrittle, Somerset to William and Ellen Brice, of the Grove Inn, Appley, Stawley, Wellington, Somerset.
1901 with his parents and brother, William at Milverton, Somerset, England.
1911 employed as a cowboy aged 15 on the farm of the Gamlin family at South Staple, Hockworthy, Wellington, Somerset.
Married 06 March 1918 in Berkeley, Glos to Ethel Noble, spinster. Father to Freda born 10 July 1918.
At the time of his death his last residence was given as Berkeley.
Accidentally drowned at Berkeley 20th July 1918 aged 22.
His widow who was residing with her daughter in Salter Street, Berkeley was granted a war gratuity 17 December 1918, revised including child 30 January 1919 and 4th December 1919.
Laid to rest 25 July 1918 in Berkeley Cemetery, Gloucestershire.
