CROSS, Fred. Private 5657, 1st Royal Munster Fusiliers Killed in action on the 8th August 1915 aged 20. He was the son of Henry and Martha of 7 Bold Street, Leigh. He is commemorated on his parents memorial in Leigh Cemetery, Lancashire and he is at rest in Lancashire Landing Cemetery, Turkey (including Gallipoli)
