EDWARDS Frank, Private, 22248, 7th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment Wounded at Gallipoli and died of wounds in Malta 21st November 1915. Native of Shrewsbury, son of John.

DAVIES Frank. Private, 2468, 1st Battalion, Herefordshire Regiment, He was taken ill in Gallipoli and died 21st November 1915 in St Georges Hospital, Malta of dysentery . Born in Ledbury, 1895 Herefordshire, son of James and Emily. 1901 he was living with widowed mother and siblings at Trumpet Cottage, Pixley, Herefordshire. 1911,a boarder in The Bothy, Perrystone Court, Foy, near Ross of Wye, Herefordshire, occupation, gardener.

NEWNS Samuel, Sergeant, 12321, 8th Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers, died in Malta 22nd November 1915 of dysentery . Born in 1889 at Oswestry, Salop , to Thomas Charles and Sarah. 1891 he was living with his parents and siblings at Hughes Yard, Llys Lane, Oswestry, 1911 he was living with his widowed father at High Street, Gresford, Denbighshire, occupation, general labourer. The following were granted a war gratuity. Sister, Mrs Sarah Jane Robert, brother, Acting Lance Sergeant 14589, Robert Henry, and another brother, Lance Corporal Frank Newns,
His brother, Corporal 14589 Robert Henry, 13th East Surrey Regiment died of a haemorrhage in the War Hospital, Lille on the 10th April 1918 at Lille, At rest in Lille Southern Cemetery, Nord France.
His other brother, Lance Corporal 25589, Frank ,3rd Royal Welch Fusiliers , formerly 6th King's Shropshire Light Infantry. He joined up aged 30 years and 10 months on the 10th December 1915 and demobilised on the 4th February 1920. He was wounded in France on the 18th April 1918 with gunshot wound to his left ear.
