Private 24199582 Francis ( Frank) William Robert P VEITCH, 4th County Fermanagh Battalion. He was shot by the PIRA in a passing car from a hail of sub-machinegun fire while on guard duty outside Mullagarrow near Kinawley Royal Ulster Constabulary Station and Army base, County Fermanagh 3rd September 1971, he died instantly, aged 23. At rest in Parish Churchyard, Enniskillen.
Commemorated on the Ulster Defence Regiment Roll of Honour.
