- Francis William Barat Mangan BYRNE, Captain, 2nd Royal Irish Fusiliers. Son Ralph Henry Byrne and Mary Josephine nee Mangan, Dublin, Ireland. He was baptised on the 24th May 1909 at Westland Row Catholic Church. Died 30th May 1940, aged 32 at Imtarfa, Malta.
