Francis Thomas (k/a Frank) DAVEY. Ordinary Seaman 233930, Royal Navy on HMS Amphitrite. Born 22nd March 1888 at Altarnun, Cornwall to Albert Henry and Elizabeth Davey nee Turpin of (1891 census) were living at Trebulle Street, Lezant, Cornwall. Enlisted 15th May 1905, occupation prior to enlistment, farm boy. Died 24th March 1908 aged 20 years of pulmonary tubercle. His father was informed of his death 25th March 1908. At rest in Plot B Grave 157, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta. (Unmarked burial)His father served in the navy 26th March 1892, - 15th April 1897, Joined the Royal Fleet Reserve, Chatham 5th July 1902, discharged to pension 22nd January 1909 with the rank of Cd Boatman.
