- Private 240672, Francis Edwin (Frank), FORD 2/4th Sherwood Foresters, killed on active service in France, 27th April 1917, 21 Prior to enlistment in 1914 he was a Shop assistant. He was the son of Edwin and Elizabeth of Terrance Road, Chapel en le Frith, He is commemorated on a family memorial in St Thomas A Becket churchyard, Chapel en le Frith, Derbyshire and is buried at Templeaux-Le-Guerard British Cemetery France
