- Florence DENISON. Nurse VAD.
Born 1871 at Rigton, Yorkshire to Isaac and Ann Denison.
1871-1881 aged 1 month she was residing with her parents and siblings at Blaberry Croft, Rigton, Yorkshire. 1901 residing at the home of her sister Laura Mary and her husband Samuel Bagshaw at Swindon Grange, Kirkby Overblow, Yorkshire. No occupation, recorded. 1911 aged 40 she was employed as an assistant housekeeper at a Convalescent Home and Hotel at Gils Land, Carisle. Enlisted 13 August 1915 gave her residence as 44 High Street, Spofforth, Harrogate, Yorkshire. Terminated her engagement 13 August 1916.
Died Wetherby, West Riding, Yorkshire 21 January 1917 aged 45.
A war gratuity was granted 6 May 1920 to her mother. ready
