F071 ISAAC PAUL. Pilot-Officer, 102610, Royal Air Force (VR), 107 Squadron. Son of Sydney Frank and Ellen Paul, of Hove, Sussex. Died 24th December 1941 aged 27 years.

F071 PETER CHARLES WELLS. Flight-Sergeant, Pilot, 748775, Royal Air Force (VR), 69 Squadron. Born 1920 to Philip and Elisabeth Wells, of Whorlton, Co.Durham. He was pilot of a Martin Maryland Mk 1, BS766 medium bomber on air operations. On the 23rd December 1941 his plane was shot up by enemy aircraft. He returned back to RAF Luga, crashed landed and caught fire at 1415 hours he was aged 20 years. The crew of three all perished.

Both at rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta Plot F Grave 71.

Pilot Officer Isaac Paul an Observer, was killed by cannon fire whilst possibly flying in Blenheim IV, Z9677 of No 107 Sqn, which was hit during an attack on shipping in Zuara harbour. Returned with battle damage and forcelanded on RAF Luqa. Per Ardua Ad Astra.
