Died on board his ship 20th July 1943 aged 27 years as the result of enemy action on the 20 July 1943 the ship sustained slight damage. There were seven casualties, four fatal. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - He resided at 127 Hornsey Park Road, Hornsey, London N.8. Died on date stated and his effects went to William Charles Coo, labour manager. These four are at rest together in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta in Plot F Grave 47.
