F047 REGINALD ALLAN JAMES. Able Seaman P/SD/X1008, Royal Naval (V.R) on HM Submarine Upholder. Born 21 March 1918 at Newhaven, Sussex. Died 12th July 1941 aged 23 years of shock from multiple Injuries when he fell from a roof, while on shore leave.


F047 ROBERT REGINALD COOK. Able Seaman C/JX238616 Royal Navy on HMS Nubian (F36). Born 17 May 1916 at Wood Green Middlesex, baptised 18 June 1916 at St Mary, Hornsey, London. Parents Charles Adolphus and Lucy Katherine Elizabeth Allpress Cook, nee Pain. The husband of Evelyn Gertrude Cook, nee Beale of Hornsey, London. Died on board his ship 20th July 1943 aged 27 years as the result of enemy action on the 20 July 1943 the ship sustained slight damage. There were seven casualties, four fatal. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - He resided at 127 Hornsey Park Road, Hornsey, London N.8. Died on date stated and his effects went to William Charles Coo, labour manager. These four are at rest together in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta in Plot F Grave 47.

F047 JACK SIARS CRIPPS, Leading Steward, P/LX29039, HMS Nubian. Born 16 July 1906 at Wivelsfield, Sussex to Herbert Edwin and Emily Caroline Cripps, nee Ferguson. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 13 Sheen Cottages, Gordon Road, Haywards Heath, Sussex.
Husband of Winifred Cripps, nee Hoadley of Burgess Hill, Sussex. Died on board his ship 20th July 1943 aged 37 years as the result of enemy action on the 20 July 1943 the ship sustained slight damage. There were seven casualties, four fatal. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - He resided at 29 Junction Road, Burgess Hill, Sussex. Died on date stated, his effects went to his widow.


F047 HARRY ARTHUR GREEN. Able Seaman P/JX298912 Royal Navy on HMS Nubian. Born 26 June 1907 in the registration district of Hendon, Middlesex. Baptised 9 August 1911 at St Mary, Hendon, parents Arthur William and Eva Green, nee Pettican. 1911 resided with his parents and siblings at 3 West View, Hendon, Middlesex. Died on board his ship 20th July 1943 aged 36 years as the result of enemy action on the 20 July 1943 the ship sustained slight damage. There were seven casualties, four fatal.

F047 WILLIAM KIRBY HOLLOWAY. Able Seaman P/JX181310, Royal Navy on HMS Nubian. Born 27 August 1906 at Bloomfield, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada to Samuel and Martha Jane Holloway, nee Hancock of Bloomfield, Newfoundland. Died on board his ship 20th July 1943 aged 36 years as the result of enemy action on the 20 July 1943 the ship sustained slight damage. There were seven casualties, four fatal.

All at rest together in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta in Plot F Grave 47.
