F043 DONALD CAMERON. Pilot Officer, J/3267, Royal Canadian Air Force. Born 6 November 1908 at Newton of Stracathro, Angus Forfarshire Scotland to Archibald Varviell and Hariett Emily Cameron, nee Bell, father’s occupation, retired farmer. He left Scotland and emigrated to America and resided at 400 Oak Avenue, Ithaca, New York. At some stage he left America and moved to Canada and resided with his wife Francis Patricia nee Maitland and two children at 6349 Angus Drive, Vancouver, British Columbia. He was married 16 May 1934 at Vancouver. He enlisted into the Air Force 6 June 1940 at the RCAF Recruiting Centre, Ottawa, civilian occupation, Zoologist. Previous military service - 1923-1927 Sergeant Infantry training and May 1940-June 1940 with 1st Battery Royal Canadian Artillery, recommended for commission. He took Air Observer course 6 June 1940 – 21 December 1940, trained on the following aircraft - Anson 85 hrs and 30 minutes as navigator, Fairey Battle 19hts and 45 minutes. Broken down to bomb aimer 11hrs and 55 minutes and gunner 7hrs and 50 minutes. Total flying hours 95hrs and 15 minutes. His wife and his three sons at the time of his death were residing at 45 Golden Avenue, Westobor, Ontario and his parents were residing at Ardlarich Rhu Dumbartonshire, Scotland. Died in a flying accident 16th June 1941 near Kalfrana, Malta.

F043 DONALD GODFREY PROUT. Leading Aircraftman 1410738, Royal Air Force (VR), 5051 Airfield Construction Squadron. Born 1921 to Annie and James Proctor Prout, of Ivybridge, Devon. Died 2nd September 1943 aged 22 years

F043 ROBERT CARSWELL. Corporal, 293124, Royal Air Force. Born 1898 to William and Jessie Carswell, of Paisley. Husband of Elizabeth Carswell, of Paisley, Renfrewshire. Died 8th September 1943 aged 45 years.
