Born 27 June 1923 at Cramlington, Northumberland to George and Margaret Swann Temple, nee Oliver of Bedlington, Northumberland. After his father died his mother remarried in 1939 to Leslie A Bigge. Died 2nd May 1941 aged 17 years as the result of an explosion to his ship.
