F027 GILBERT SPENCER PRIESTNALL, Sergeant, PO/22683, Royal Marines on HMS St. Angelo shore base, Malta. Born 14 July 1905 Chesterfield, Cheshire to Frederick Anthony Augustus Woodcock and Sarah Hannah Priestnall, nee Dicken. Husband of Nellie nee Day who he married in 1926 in the registration district of Sheffield, Yorkshire. Died 20th April 1941 aged 36 years.

F027 RONALD MARCUS STEELE. Stoker 1st Class, C/KX146991, HMS Derwent Born 15 February 1923 to Edward Albert and Eliza Steele, formerly, Bareham of Colchester, Essex. 1939 residing with his mother and siblings at 121 Ipswich Road, Colchester, occupation brickyard labourer. Died 19th March 1943 aged 20 years on board his ship as the result of a torpedo explosion which was dropped from a German Ju.88 aircraft in Tripoli harbour, Libya. The deceased were brought back to Malta.

F027 CHRISTOPHER JAMES BARKER, Petty Officer Stoker, D/KX77212 Royal Navy on HMS Derwent. Born 7 September 1902 at Bedale, Yorkshire to Edmund and Annie Barker, nee Foster of Northallerton, Yorkshire. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at Leeming Bar, Bedale, Yorkshire. Enlisted 30 April 1918 on HMS Ganges as Boy 2nd Class J89624, civilian occupation, working in a iron foundry. Re-enlisted 12 October 1926 on HMS Vivid II as Stoker 2nd Class. KX77212 Civilian occupation, Engine cleaner and formerly J89624. Husband of Annie Elizabeth Barker, nee Byrom of Bedale, Yorkshire. Died 19th March 1943 aged 40 years on board his ship as the result of a torpedo explosion which was dropped from a German Ju.88 aircraft in Tripoli harbour, Libya. The deceased were brought back to Malta.

F027 CHARLES RUBY, Stoker 2nd Class, D/KX136139 Royal Navy on HMS Derwent (L83), Born 26th February 1922 at Liverpool to Charles and Mary Ann Ruby, nee Edwards of Liverpool. Died 19th March 1943 aged 22 years on board his ship as the result of a torpedo explosion which was dropped from a German Ju.88 aircraft in Tripoli harbour, Libya. The deceased were brought back to Malta.
