F024 JAMES BEAZLEY. Marine, PO/X21545, Royal Marines, on HMS St.Angelo, shore base, Malta. Born 25 June 1902 at Reading Berkshire to Tom William and Charlotte Beazley nee Mattingley. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 43 Boley Place, Castle Street, Reading. Enlisted 18 March 1921 aged 18 years 6 months and 24 days at Southampton. Civilian occupation, hammerman (Iron works) On the 29 November 1926 he married Florence Mabel Barnett at St Mary the Virgin Church, Reading, Berkshire. Both resided at 51 Sycamore Road, Shinfield, Reading. On the 21 February 1938 he was post to HMS St Angelo, Malta. He died in Malta 23 March 1941 aged 38 years from injuries received in air raids that day over Malta.
F024 JAMES GALLACHER GARGAN, Leading Stoker, D/KX127656, H.M. Motor Torpedo Boat 76. Born 12 October 1912 at Paisley Renfrewshire, Scotland to Edward and Izabella Gargan. Husband of Jeanie Allan Gargan, nee Erskin of Paisley, Renfrewshire. Died 23rd May 1943 aged 31 years at 45 General Hospital, Pembroke Garrison, Malta of multiple injuries caused by an explosion on board his ship.
