F104 Maurice McAllister KEMPTON. Flying-Officer, J/9516, Royal Canadian Air Force, attached to 458 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force at RAF Luqa. Born 8 October 1914 at Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, Canada to Clifford Forge and Mary Kempton, of 632 Oxford Street, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. His father was native of Essex, England, his mother also from Essex. He enlisted 6 March 1941 at Regina Saskatchewan Canada. Previous military service. He had served as Lance Corporal, 3 Coy, 12th Divisional Signals at Moose Jaw 1933 to 1936 when Signals amalgamated with the KORC. He was now Private and joined 25 September 1936 to end of his engagement 5 October 1937. He was killed 13th February 1943 aged 28 years 4 months and 5 days.
