- F001 AMOS JENKINS. Leading Stoker, D/KX79699, Royal Navy on HMS Badsworth. Born 12 August 1909 at Ynyshir, Glamorganshire to Amos Thomas and Hilda Jenkins. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 30 Robert Street, Ynysybwl Glamorganshire. Husband of Constance F. Jenkins, of Blaengwynfi, Glamorgan. Died 16 June 1942 aged 32 years on board his ship when it suffered major structural damage after she detonated a mine whilst entering Grand Harbour, Malta.
At rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta Plot F Grave 1.
