- Eva Martha DAVIES. Nurse VAD. Stationed at 3rd Western General Hospital, Cardiff, South Wales.
Born 1897 at Tryoys Velindre, Breconshire, Wales to John and Mary Anne Davies of Llantwit Major, Glamorganshire. Welsh 1901 with her siblings and parents at Cwuiclyd, Breconshire. 1911 with her brother and parents at Three Cocks, Kennel Tregoyd, occupation home help.
She was a local Red Cross Nurse and volunteered at the outbreak of war and nursed at Newport Hospital. Died of septicaemia on Sunday 16 June 1918 aged 21 at 3rd Western General Hospital, Cardiff. A war gratuity was granted 6 May 1920 to her mother Anne.

Her brother Gunner H Davies R.G.A. was killed in France. He left a wife and two children.
