Ernest LILLEY. Gunner 80963, 162nd Anti-Aircraft Section, Royal Garrison Artillery. Born 1896 to Enoch and Mary Ann Lilley. In 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at Colliery Swing Gate, Kimberey, occupation aged 15 years, colliery worker. Died at 1st Western General Hospital, Fazakerley, Liverpool 10 August 1916 aged 21 years. Son of Enoch and Mary Ann Lilley, of 40, Swingate, Kimberley. His father was granted a war gratuity 22 February 1917.
