Ernest John LYONS. Mechanician 282670, Royal Navy of HMS Russell. Born 19th December 1874 at Eastney, Hampshire, enlisted 4th June 1896, occupation prior to enlistment, trunk finisher. Died 2nd August 1912 aged 34 of tuberculosis of lung in Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta. His widow was informed of his death 2nd August 1912. Wills and Admin, Ancestry.
