Ernest COLEY, Stoker 289032, Royal Navy on HMS Bruizer. Born 13th October 1878 at Elland Yorkshire, baptised 13th June 1879 at Warley St John the Evangelist Church, Yorkshire, parents Arthur and Margaret Coley of Stainland,Warley. Enlisted 13th June 1898, occupation prior to enlistment, brace maker. Died 17th December 1906 aged 28 years of enteric fever in Royal Naval Hospital, Malta. His brother was informed of his death 17th december 1906. In 1901 he was stoker on HMS Torpedo Boat, Destroyer Electre at Birkenhead, Cheshire
