Ephraim RATTLE. Private 3616 1st Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Born in Pettistree, Suffolk, enlisted on the 4th November 1893 occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Son of Jeremiah and Emma, brother of James and Harriet. In 1891 he was living with his parents aged 15 at Pades Farm Cottage, Wickham Market, Suffolk, occupation, stockman. He died 29th September 1909
Edward COOTE. Private, 6990 1st Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Born in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Enlisted on the 21 November 1899, occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Brother to Hannah, Mary and Annie. Son of Edward who was granted a war gratuity on the 4th November 1909. Died 8th October 1909.
Frank JOHNSON. Private 3497 1st Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Born at Halstead, Essex, enlisted on the 5th April 1893, occupation prior to enlistment, labourer, son of Henry. Died 27th June 1910. (At rear of headstone - see separate photograph).
