- Emily Rose STEWART, nee Lindsay. Born 1837 to Florence nee Brown and John Mackenzie Lindsay, Esquire. Wife of Lieutenant Colonel Duncan Stewart formerly of 92nd (Gordon Highlanders) Regiment of Foot who she married in 1864 is Selkirk, Scotland. 1881 she was residing with her husband, now retired and son Archibald at Kilmarnock Road, Fairly.
Their son Archibald Alan William John Stewart. Born 8 January 1872 enlisted into the Royal Navy 15 January 1885 as Midshipman.
Died at Valletta, Malta 6 January 1886 aged 49 years.
