His occupation was a Motor Bus Driver and he was residing with his mother, Annie at 98. Campbell Road, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. he was the husband of Elsie Margaret. He was discharged from the army 30th April 1919 with the rank of corporal. He passed away 29th May 1960 at the North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary Hospital, Hartshill, near the cemetery.
