Edwin TURNER. Private 5043, B Coy, 1/5th North Staffordshire Regiment died of wounds in France 4th February 1917 aged 20. Son of Samuel and Mary Ann of The Rocks, Brown Edge and brother of Allen who also fell. Commemorated on his parents memorial in St Ann's churchyard, Brown Edge, Staffordshire. At rest in Warlincourt Halte British Cemetery, Saulty, France.
