SLACK, Edwin. Private 621783, Labour Corps, formerly Private 277634, Essex Regiment died 11th December 1919 aged 28 and he was the son of Albert and Mary who in 1901 were living as a family at 2, King Edward Street, Macclesfield. He was baptised on the 7th May 1890 at St Michaels Church, Macclesfield. In 1911 he is now married and was living with his wife, Mary at 3H, Court 8, Cross Street, Macclesfield and he was working in a local cotton mill as a spinner, piecer. He is at rest in Macclesfield Cemetery Cheshire.
