Son of Mr and Mrs E J Moseley, husband of Edith Rhoda Moseley, 43 Moor Street, Gloucester. Born at Gloucester.

Some notes from what remains of his army records.
Joined up 24 April 1915 at Royal Engineers Depot, Chatham aged 32 years and 6 months. Occupation prior to enlistment, plumber, lived at 43 Moore Street, Gloucester City. Embarked for France 19 November 1915, wounded in action on the 29 February 1916 by machine gun fire. Received gun shot wounds in the head, right arm, back, and legs. Invalided to England 17 March 1916. Discharged from the army as being no longer physically fit for war service to his home of 43 Moore Street.
