Edward TABB. Private 7335, 2nd Devonshire Regiment. Died 18th January 1912 aged 24 at Cottonera, Malta. Native of Truo, Cornwall, enlisted 12th February 1903 as a boy soldier aged 15. Served in Egypt for a month. He was the son of William and Jane nee Whitford. In 1891 he was living with his parents at 55 Kenwyn Street/Road, Kenwyn, Cornwall. 1901 living with his father then a widower and siblings at Chapel Hill Kenwyn aged 13 and working in a mill. 1911 with the 2nd Devonshire Regiment stationed in Malta aged 23. His father William was granted a war gratuity 31st January 1912.
