Edward LITTLE

Edward LITTLE. Stoker 1st Class 225713, Royal Navy on HMS Irresistible. Born 7th January 1885 at Custom House, West Ham, London enlisted 20th March 1903, occupation prior to enlistment, seaman Died by hanging (suicide) 2nd May 1907 aged 22. His aunt was informed of his death on the 1st May 1907. The Royal Navy held a Court of Inquiry and found that the man committed suicide although there was nothing to show that this man was suffering from any particular trouble which might have induced him to take his own life. The inquest returned the verdict that the man committed suicide and that there was no suspicion of foul play. At rest in Plot B Grave 141, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta. (Unmarked burial)
