- Private 24715186 Edward (Ned) GIBSON, 8th County Tyrone Battalion. He was off duty and was working as a bin man at Moortown, County Tyrone on the 26th April 1988 aged 23.
He was shot seven time in the body and twice in the head by the two PIRA while he lifted a bin, he died at the scene. He had completed six weeks training and only passed out two weeks prior to his death. At rest at St Luke's Churchyard, Tamlaght, County Tyrone.
