Gunner 1601713 Edward Frank ROBINS. 144 Battery, 35 Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery 1920-1942. Far East Prisoner of War. Captured 15th February 1942 died 5th March 1943 aged 22 on Ballale Island while constructing and air field. 'Gunners 600 party' Commemorated on the Singapore Memorial. This memorial paviour is at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
