Edith Frances BARKER. Nurse, VAD 90th (Cheshire) Detachment.
Extended Description
Born 1869 to Richard and Emily Chaelwood Barker, of Huyton, Liverpool. 1871 with her siblings and parents at Archway Road, Huyton abd Roby, Lancashire. 1881 with her parents and siblings at 93 Park Road South Claughton, Cheshire. Welsh 1901 with her siblings at Peny Bryan Hall, Llangollen, Denbighshire.
1911 with her brother George, a brewer, at 9 Valentia Rd Hoylake Birkenhead.

She nursed in Malta and France.

Died of cerebrospinal meningitis 3 April 1918 aged 49.

A war gratuity was granted 19 August 1918 to George Guyse Barker revised 18 February 1921.

At rest in St. Omer Souvenir Cemetery, Longuenesse, France.

Wills and Admin, Ancestry -
Edith Frances Barker of 9 Valentia Rd Hoylake Cheshire spinster died 03 April 1918 at St Omer France. Her effects went to her brother George Guyse Barker, brewer.
