E005 William Angus WOODMAN, Warrant Officer, Navigator, 523248, Royal Air Force, 23 Squadron RAF Luqa, Malta. Son of John and Mary Jane Woodman, of Haltwhistle, Northumberland. Accidently killed by a stray 303 bullet 23rd March 1943 aged 25 years at 19.35 hours. He was crew of a Mosquito Dzz39 aircraft flown by Flying Officer Arthur John Hodgkinson DRC on a Combat Training bursting duties west of Sicilly when he was hit. The pilot, unhurt returned to Luqa.

E005 James TARBUCK. Pilot Officer, 136224, Royal Air Force (VR), 185 Squadron. Died 1st April 1943 aged 23 years, Son of James and Alice Mary Tarbuck of 61 Walton Hall Avenue, Liverpool. His effects went to James Tarbuck, commission agent. He was the uncle to Jimmy Tarbuck, television personality/comedian.
