Died 4th January 1942 aged 26 years. Son of Josephine Eleanor Ellison and Captain Frederick Tyrrel Godman. Husband of Valborg Cecilie Godman, of Burgess Hill, Sussex. Awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his services as a Sub Lieutenant RNVR in HM Yacht Seriola during the evacuation from the beaches of Dunkirk (See London Gazette dated 16th Aug 1940). Wills and Admin, Ancestry. - His residence in England was Great Ote, Burgess Hill, Sussex. His effects went to Valborg Cecilie Godman, nee Hansen, widow.
