E012 Thomas Ellison GODMAN. (Distinguished Service Cross). Lieutenant, RNVR, on Destroyer, HMS Havock. 1939 residing alone in 107 Chatsworth Court, Kensington, London. Died 4th January 1942 aged 26 years. Son of Josephine Eleanor Ellison and Captain Frederick Tyrrel Godman. Husband of Valborg Cecilie Godman, of Burgess Hill, Sussex. Awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his services as a Sub Lieutenant RNVR in HM Yacht Seriola during the evacuation from the beaches of Dunkirk (See London Gazette dated 16th Aug 1940). Wills and Admin, Ancestry. - His residence in England was Great Ote, Burgess Hill, Sussex. His effects went to Valborg Cecilie Godman, nee Hansen, widow.

Son of Theodore Cecil and Marianne Albertine Orpen, nee KObelt of Parkstone, Dorsetshire and brother of Dick and Margaret. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - Residence in England was 3 Elmore Road, Putney, London. His effects went to Theodore Cecil Orpen, chartered accountant.

Son of Charles William Robert and Lena Poynter. Husband of Gladys Poynter, of Lee, London. His residence in England was 1 Milborough Crescent, Lee, London. His effects went to his widow.
