- E010 Guy Anthony Brereton UNDERWOOD, Paymaster Midshipman, Royal Navy on HMS Orion. Died 5th May 1943 aged 19 years at RAF Luqa, Malta of multiple injuries and burns in a flying accident. Son of Charles Guy and Grace Audrey Antoinette Underwood, nee Griffith of Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire.

Paymaster Midshipman GUY ANTHONY BRERETON UNDERWOOD, Royal Navy, entered the Wellesley in the Michaelmas term of 1937 and when the house closed down went on to the Stanley, where he became a house Prefect. At the end of the Lent term,1942, he went to Dartmouth, where he did well, passing out with distinction and winning the Paymaster's Prize. He joined H.M.S.Drion as Paymaster Midshipman at Malta in April, 1943, and was killed instantaneously in a flying accident on the island on the 5th of the following May.
