Private 266485 Samuel DUNNING Sr 552nd Coy Labour Corps formerly 3/6011 Border Regiment died 15th September 1917 aged 52. He was the husband of Agnes Ann nee Redhead of 18 Fairbank, Kirkby Lonsdale and father of Samuel 26065 who also fell. In 1911 he a labourer for the estate. He is at rest in St Mary's churchyard, Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland
