DRAKE, George, Flying Officer, Navigator 136363, 166 Squadron, Royal Air Force (VR) killed in action 16th December 1943 aged 20. He is commemorated on the memorial of his grandparents Henry and Ellen Rose of Thirsk who are buried in Thirsk Cemetery, Yorkshire and he is at rest in Hanover War Cemetery, Niedersachsen, Germany.
